Dr. Kristina Burgin
Dr. Kristina Burgin was born and raised in Rhode Island and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Rhode Island. She moved to Arizona to attend Midwestern University College of Veterinary Medicine and has been practicing small-animal medicine in Arizona ever since.
Dr. Burgin’s professional interests include preventive medicine, urgent care, chronic disease management, and palliative and end-of-life care. She believes in providing thoughtful, individualized medicine for each patient, emphasizing a spectrum-of-care approach that balances medical needs, quality of life, and each client’s unique goals and circumstances. She values practical, compassionate care and enjoys building relationships with pets and the people who love them.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Burgin stays busy raising her two young boys. Her family loves spending time outdoors and exploring the beauty of the desert. She’s happily outnumbered by her pets: a senior dog, an enthusiastic puppy, and a very patient cat.
